KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 8 (Bernama) -- Gungjung Haemultang Chossijib (Chossijib), a renowned Korean seafood stew Haemultang restaurant, has launched new ready-to-heat (RTH) meals, extending its culinary legacy into everyday dining.
Chossijib in a statement said these seafood and fish offal hot pot meals allow customers to enjoy Chossijib’s authentic, spicy flavours in the comfort of their own homes.
Now operated by the second generation, Chossijib blends its rich culinary heritage with modern innovation through the Chossijib Research Center, launched in 2023. The centre develops and manufactures authentic meal products, transforming popular dishes into convenient RTH formats.
Recognised for its commitment to innovation, Chossijib secured a patent in 2022 for its seafood broth preparation method and has earned accolades such as the 2024 Busan Star Small Business and participation in the 2025 Export Voucher Program.
The restaurant’s story has been featured on major Korean TV channels, highlighting its successful balance of tradition and transformation.
As part of its strategic initiative to expand market presence and seek global opportunities, the company is participating in monthly exhibitions through November this year.
Established in 1959, Chossijib remained a beloved dining destination for over six decades with its commitment to fresh ingredients, comforting meals, and the preservation of culinary heritage.
