GUPSHUP ACQUIRES KNOWLARITY, STRENGTHENS CONVERSATIONAL ENGAGEMENT PORTFOLIO

KUALA LUMPUR, Feb 3 (Bernama) -- Gupshup, the global leader in conversational engagement, has announced the acquisition of Knowlarity Communications.

Knowlarity is a global leader in cloud communications, offering cloud telephony, contact centre automation, AI-powered voice assistants and speech analytics solutions to over 6,000 customers across 65 countries.

The acquisition complements Gupshup’s industry-leading Conversational Messaging suite and establishes Gupshup as the leader in voice & video communications as well, according to a statement.

The transaction is expected to close by February-end, 2022, subject to completion of customary closing conditions. DC Advisory acted as the sole financial adviser to Knowlarity on the transaction.
