KUALA LUMPUR, June 5 (Bernama) -- Denodo, a leader in data management, has introduced Denodo AI SDK Certified Developer Associate, a new professional certification aimed at enhancing expertise in artificial intelligence (AI) development.
The certification recognises individuals equipped with skills to accelerate the creation of AI and generative AI (GenAI) applications using Denodo’s AI Software Development Kit (SDK).
Denodo chief technology officer, Alberto Pan said the certification aims to support developers and organisations in leveraging AI capabilities more effectively.
"By providing a concrete pathway to recognise and enhance skills, we are enabling organisations to leverage the full potential of their AI initiatives," he said in a statement.
The certification follows the release of the Denodo Platform version 9.1 in November 2024. The current version, Platform 9.2, includes the Denodo Assistant, an automation tool that delivers contextual insights, and the Denodo AI SDK, which supports the development of AI-powered applications through integration with large language models (LLMs) and vector databases.
The SDK applies the retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) framework, enabling AI applications to access enterprise data securely and accurately.
Data professionals who recently received Denodo certification underscored its value in career development.
José Pallas, a data leader at airline company Vueling, said certified professionals are better equipped to manage the company’s Denodo environment, and Vueling encourages professional development and sees certification as a way to ensure in-house expertise.
Similarly, Hananto Prabowo, a data expert at Continental, said certification supports continuous learning and knowledge sharing in the fast-evolving data landscape.
Registration for the Denodo AI SDK Certified Developer Associate exam is now open. Denodo also offers learning resources via its online community, including user manuals, tutorials, and technical talks to support candidates preparing for the certification.
