KUALA LUMPUR, June 10 (Bernama) -- Black & Veatch, a global leader in human critical infrastructure solutions, will present solutions to accelerate Southeast Asia’s energy transition at the Energy Asia 2025 conference, taking place June 16 to 18 at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre.
“As geopolitical tensions rise and extreme heat waves become more prolonged, Malaysia and its Southeast Asian neighbours need energy transition solutions that will meet their economic and environmental targets.
“Black & Veatch is committed to drawing on its extensive sustainable infrastructure experience to help the region meet its growing energy demands with low- and zero-carbon energy sources,” said Black & Veatch managing director, Asia Pacific, Jerin Raj in a statement.
As part of this initiative, its vice president and managing director, International Energy Majors, Anand Pattani, will speak on the evolving role of traditional refiners in a low-carbon future at the conference in Malaysia.
Pattani will outline practical strategies—globally informed but regionally adapted—for overcoming regulatory, technical, and financial barriers in the refining sector.
Black & Veatch has been involved in Malaysia’s power sector since the 1990s, contributing expertise across project planning, resource allocation, and execution, all while aligning with the nation’s sustainability priorities of carbon reduction, efficiency, and green development.
