AM Best To Spotlight Vietnam's Non-life Outlook At August Summit

KUALA LUMPUR, July 23 (Bernama) -- Global credit rating agency, AM Best will participate as a diamond sponsor at the Vietnam Insurance Summit on Aug 1 in Quy Nhon, Vietnam, hosted at the Hotel Anya Premier.

In a statement, AM Best said its Senior Financial Analyst, Ken Lau will discuss the credit rating agency’s 2025 outlook on Vietnam’s non-life insurance segment.

The presentation will include Topics such as insurance demand, regulatory refinements and market competition.

Lau, who joined AM Best in 2020, is responsible for the credit ratings of insurance and reinsurance companies in the Asia Pacific region and is particularly knowledgeable about Vietnam’s insurance market.

Additionally, the rating agency’s managing director and chief executive officer, Asia Pacific, Rob Curtis, and market development analyst, Asia Pacific, Johnathan Wong will also be in attendance and available for meetings.

This year’s summit theme, “Insurance Development Strategy in the AI Revolution”, will dive into artificial intelligence (AI) applications, data-sharing systems, digital ecosystem development and customer experience optimisation.

Attendees visiting AM Best’s booth can explore the agency’s credit ratings, market intelligence tools, and its Performance Assessment framework for Delegated Underwriting Authority Enterprises (DUAEs).
