Samyang Foods to sponsor 2022 MAMA Awards

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 29 (Bernama) -- Samyang Foods has announced its sponsorship of the 2022 MAMA Awards to mark the 10th anniversary of the launch of Buldak Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen.

It said this year’s awards would be held on Nov 29 and 30 at the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan.

“Samyang Foods plans to promote Buldak Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen to the world by operating a booth inside the venue during the event and producing collaborative videos with K-pop artists,” it said in a statement today.

A Samyang Foods official said the company had sponsored numerous global events in the Americas and Europe this year to commemorate the 10th anniversary of its launch of Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen.

“Through participation in the upcoming music event in Asia (Japan), we will deliver the message of fun and challenge with music.

“We will show the potential of Samyang Foods’ Hot Chicken Flavor Ramen to the world by launching localised flavours for each country,” he added.

The MAMA Awards was previously known as the Mnet Asian Music Awards until its rebranding this year.

The awards had established itself as the best music awards ceremony in Korea.
