PAYNET EXPANDS ATM ACCEPTANCE FOR DISCOVER® GLOBAL NETWORK
First phase will enable for Discover®, Diners Club International®, and network alliance card to perform balance inquiry and cash withdrawals at local ATMs, other features to follow.
KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 20 (Bernama) -- Payments Network Malaysia Sdn Bhd (PayNet), the national retail payments network for Malaysia and operator of the shared ATM and MEPS ATM networks, have enabled acceptance of Discover®, Diners Club International®, and network alliance cards at its ATMs in the country after entering into a collaboration with Discover® Global Network, the global payment brand of Discover Financial Services in March earlier this year. The launch, held at PayNet’s Headquarters in Bangsar South extends international and cross-border transaction capabilities for Discover Global Network and network alliance cardholders, fulfilling the demands of its growing global clientele. Discover, Diners Club International, PULSE®, and network alliance cardholders can now perform balance inquiry and cash withdrawal transactions at participating local ATMs.
