MIA WINS HRD CORP'S HUMAN RESOURCES MINISTER AWARD
KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 8 (Bernama) -- The Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) is delighted to announce that we have won the prestigious HRD Corp’s “Human Resources Minister Award”. This is awarded to the top training provider nationwide to recognise and inspire excellence in human capital and learning development.
In his keynote address at the Human Resources Development Awards 2024 held yesterday, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Energy Transition and Water Transformation, YAB Dato’ Sri Haji Fadillah Haji Yusof commended the winners. "These companies are not only improving their internal workforce capabilities but are also innovating and setting new benchmarks in human resources," said the Deputy Prime Minister.
“As the regulator and developer of the profession, MIA is always committed to innovating and enhancing our Professional Development programmes. MIA collaborates strategically with stakeholders to create professional development programmes that upskill accountancy professionals to anticipate and fulfil current and future market requirements,” said MIA President, YBhg. Dato’ Seri Dr Mohamad Zabidi Ahmad. On behalf of MIA, he thanked MIA members and stakeholders for supporting its commitment to developing accountancy professionals. He also added that this award will motivate and inspire MIA staff to further enhance their contributions to talent development towards future relevance of the accountancy profession.
MIA’s Vice President, Puan Saniza Said who accepted the award on behalf of the Institute said that this is a proud achievement for MIA that is only possible through strategic collaboration. “Professional Development is the foundation of the future relevance of the profession and enables our nation building purpose,” she concluded.
