Indegene acquires US-based healthcare marketing agency CultHealth

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 20 (Bernama) -- Indegene, a digital-first, life sciences commercialisation company, has acquired CultHealth, a United States-based full-service healthcare marketing agency for many life sciences brands.

In a statement today, it said the acquisition, through its subsidiary, ILSL Inc, has broadened its commercialisation portfolio from drug discovery and development to marketing and sales while adding brand strategy and market development capabilities as well as patient engagement platforms.

It said CultHealth has a track record of delivering superior creative for direct-to-consumer (DTC) campaigns including many award-winning campaigns on digital television or video.

Executive director and chief executive officer Manish Gupta said the company welcomed the CultHealth team to the Indegene family and is excited for their journey together.

“The CultHealth team brings nuanced expertise in reaching patients and physicians with meaningful DTC and marketing efforts with a special emphasis on therapeutic areas of diabetes and oncology,” he said.

CultHealth partner and chief executive officer Jeff Rothstein said, “We are thrilled to join the Indegene family. Indegene’s life sciences relationships, global scale and complementary portfolio offer exciting opportunities for us to grow together.”

CultHealth engages with life sciences companies at a medical or academic level, bringing deep insight into drug mechanisms of action and customer behaviour to derive insights for superior brand campaigns and creatives.
