Formlabs' Unmatched Speed, Accuracy, Precision Resin Printer Redefines 3D Printing

KUALA LUMPUR, April 18 (Bernama) -- Formlabs, the leader in 3D printing, has announced the Form 4 and Form 4B, setting a new benchmark in professional resin 3D printing with its proprietary new Low Force Display (LFD) print engine.

According to Formlabs in a statement, the print speeds of Form 4 is up to five times faster which boost productivity for professionals, enabling them to take design risks and accelerate time to market.

Its chief executive officer and co-founder, Max Lobovsky said Form 4 marked a significant advancement for the entire 3D printing landscape, with its reliability and new level of speed that will transform how customers develop new products.

“We have built on the strength and insights gathered from more than 130,000 printers on the market and over 300 million parts printed to deliver the Form 4, our best SLA printer ever,” he said.

Formlabs introduces six new resins to its industry-leading library, including reformulated General Purpose Resins and specialised options like Fast Model Resin, Precision Model Resin, catering to the dental industry.

The new Form 4 is validated to use more than 17 other materials from its library, with 15 additional biocompatible materials compatible with Form 4B.

It features blazing fast print speeds which can achieve most prints in under two hours with masked stereolithography (mSLA) technology, up to five times faster than Form 3+.

In addition, its intuitive operation offers an easy learning curve with automatic resin handling, instant material changes, and quick-release build platform.
