Capco names James Arnett APAC Head

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 21 -- Capco, the global management and technology consultancy, has named James Arnett as Managing Partner for the APAC region with responsibility for managing the firm’s business across Hong Kong, Singapore, Thailand and Malaysia.
Capco Chief Executive Officer, Lance Levy said: “Appointing James to lead APAC underscores Capco’s commitment to investing in the region.
“His deep expertise around emerging technologies and data-led transformation within capital markets and banking will be invaluable as we continue to grow our business and presence in the region.”
Arnett has over 20 years’ international experience in consulting, banking and technology, working with some of the world’s largest financial institutions and a number of the UK’s pioneer internet banks.
He led and built out Capco’s UK Finance, Risk and Compliance practice and most recently, was Head of the UK Capital Markets practice.
According to a statement, Arnett joined Capco in 2011, having held roles at IBM Global Business Services, Capita, Hewlett Packard Enterprise and The Co-operative Bank.
He will be based out of Capco’s Hong Kong office, and will relocate from London once travel restrictions are lifted.
