Blue Origin bidding, auction for space travel via New Shepard’s first human flight

KUALA LUMPUR, June 8 -- Blue Origin has announced that bidding is underway at BlueOrigin.com, concluding with a live online auction on June 12.

The winning bidder will fly to space on New Shepard’s first human flight on July 20.

According to a statement, auction bidding is already at US$2.8 million with nearly 6,000 participants from 143 countries. (US$1 = RM4.118)

Jeff Bezos, and brother, Mark will join the auction winner.

The winning bid amount will be donated to Blue Origin’s foundation, Club for the Future, whose mission is to inspire future generations to pursue careers in STEM and help invent the future of life in space.

Anyone interested in bidding in the live auction must register by June 10, with registration details at BlueOrigin.com.
