Airwallex Initiates Programme In Singapore To Drive Local Startup Success

KUALA LUMPUR, June 24 (Bernama) -- Airwallex, a global financial platform for modern businesses, has launched its ‘Airwallex for Startups’ programme in Singapore to further empower the city-state's community of over 55,000 startups.


The programme aims to empower startups to grow and scale their businesses, offering them tips and tools to manage their finances more effectively from the start of their journey and enable them to better connect with the ecosystem.


“Startups are the backbone of innovation and progress around the world, and this programme is designed to help Singapore's entrepreneurs achieve their ambitions, take risks on their ideas, expand their reach and continue to build their businesses beyond borders,” said its General Manager of Asia, Arnold Chan in a statement.


As the company continues to support businesses globally in their expansion, it is now launching this programme in Singapore which is the third market where Airwallex has launched this exciting initiative, after Hong Kong and Australia.


Joining the programme gives Singapore-based startups access to six months of waived expense management fees for Airwallex and three per cent cashback for Airwallex Borderless Cards; up to SG$20,000 of fee-free payments processed by Airwallex; as well as up to three months worth of Xero subscription, among others. (SG$1=RM3.47)


In addition, the Singapore-based startups will also gain access to networking activities with founders and industry leaders, attend workshops that will address topics ranging from artificial intelligence to customer relationship management.


As part of the launch, local startups can apply for a SG$10,000 Level-up Business Grant to unlock their next level of growth with applications now open until Aug 31.
