This event, which has become a key international platform for dialogue on China’s development strategy, saw a noticeable increase in global participation, with over 100 international delegates, including representatives from Hong Kong, Macao, and several former heads of state and high-ranking officials.

This diverse representation reflects the growing importance of the conference in fostering international dialogue and building global consensus, according to a statement.

The event featured a broad range of activities, including keynote speeches at the opening ceremony, six parallel seminars, 14 thematic forums, two closed-door discussions, and multiple supporting activities. It also attracted over 100 media outlets from both China and abroad, highlighting its role in fostering international engagement.

Discussions at the conference focused on China’s reforms and modernisation process, emphasising how these efforts contribute not only to national development but also to global growth and stability. This year's event highlighted the global significance of China’s reforms and the progress of Chinese-style modernisation, addressing key topics such as the unity of China’s ethnic groups, cultural preservation, and the advancement of women in leadership roles.

By promoting cultural exchange and collaboration, the conference aimed to bridge international divides and foster mutual understanding.
