TOURISE Unveils Powerhouse Advisory Board Ahead Of Global Summit

KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 5 (Bernama) -- TOURISE, a new global platform focused on cross-sector collaboration in tourism, has announced the formation of its Advisory Board ahead of its inaugural summit scheduled for Nov 11 to 13 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
The 14-member board comprises prominent leaders from tourism, aviation, technology, media, entertainment, sustainability, and education, assembled to guide the platform’s long-term strategy and shape the summit’s agenda.
Chaired by Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Tourism, Ahmed Al-Khateeb, the board is set to drive TOURISE’s mission of fostering global dialogue and action to redefine the future of tourism, according to a statement.
“TOURISE is driving cross-sector global collaboration, and the formation of the Advisory Board ensures we are uniting diverse perspectives from representatives across the global tourism ecosystem,” said Al-Khateeb.
He added the board’s insights will be vital in transforming TOURISE into a catalyst for innovation, investment and sustainable development in the global tourism sector.
Among the key members of the board are World Travel & Tourism Council President & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Julia Simpson, Global Sustainable Tourism Council CEO Randy Durband, Amadeus CEO Luis Maroto, and Heathrow Airport CEO Thomas Woldbye.
Other members include former TikTok executive Blake Chandlee, Wild Origins Founder Neil Jacobs, Cirque du Soleil Entertainment Group President Stephane Lefebvre, and One Billion Happy Founder Mo Gawdat.
The board also includes Saudi Tourism Authority CEO and TOURISE Vice Chair, Fahd Hamidaddin, along with Riyadh School of Tourism and Hospitality CEO, Fabien Fresnel, and international events expert Jean-Philippe Cossé.
The Advisory Board is expected to meet regularly in the run-up to the summit to provide strategic direction and ensure geographical and sectoral inclusivity in shaping TOURISE’s content and agenda.
TOURISE aims to serve as a long-term platform for dialogue, investment, and policy shaping in global tourism, positioning itself not just as a one-time event but as an ongoing movement.
