Kazuyasu Adachi Joins Anaqua As General Manager, APAC And President, Japan

KUALA LUMPUR, April 2 (Bernama) -- Anaqua, a provider of innovation and intellectual property (IP) management technology solutions and services, has announced the appointment of Kazuyasu Adachi as General Manager, APAC, and President, Japan.
In this role, Adachi will oversee all commercial operations in Japan and the broader Asia-Pacific region while serving as part of Anaqua’s global executive team. This change comes as the company continues its focus on long-term growth and investment in the region.
Anaqua Chief Executive Officer, Justin Crotty in a statement, praised Adachi’s extensive IP and technology expertise, emphasising how his leadership will strengthen Anaqua’s position in the region and enhance partnerships with industry-leading clients.
Meanwhile, Adachi expressed his enthusiasm for joining Anaqua, stating it is an honour to lead the company’s Japan and APAC operations and drive the next stage of growth.
Adachi brings over 30 years of experience in the IP industry, including 25 years at Panasonic Holdings Corporation, where he held several management roles, including President of Panasonic IP Management Co Ltd.
He also contributed significantly to IP activities at Suntory Holdings Limited, focusing on strategic IP management and dispute resolution across Japan, South Korea, China, Europe, and the United States.
Adachi holds multiple degrees, including a bachelor’s and master’s in metallurgical engineering from Osaka University, a Master of Arts in management from Lancaster University, and a Bachelor of Laws from Kindai University.
