KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 24 (Bernama) -- In a momentous collaboration, Universiti Selangor (UNISEL) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM ) have formally delivered the Letter of Confirmation (LOC) to Invest Selangor Berhad for the Selangor Lab Partnership Program during the Opening Ceremony of 7th Selangor International Business Summit 2023 (“SIBS 2023”) on 19th October 2023. YBhg. Prof. Dato’ Dr. Mohammad Redzuan Othman, President and Vice-Chancellor of Universiti Selangor (UniSel), and YBhg. Profesor Dato’ Dr. Ahmad Farhan Mohd Sadullah, Vice Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), handed over the letter of confirmation to YBhg. The Selangor Lab Partnership Program, led by Invest Selangor Berhad, stands as a pivotal initiative designed to serve as a bridge, connecting academic institutions, including universities, institutions of higher learning, and research institutes, with the industry players within the thriving life sciences sector. Its core mission is to facilitate access to valuable resources, foster collaboration, and promote the exchange of knowledge between these vital entities. Under this program, industry players gain facilitated access to essential resources, including cutting-edge laboratory facilities, specialized equipment, analysis support, expert consultancy, student participation, technical training, and the opportunity to engage in collaborative research projects.
