Hitachi Metals changes trade name to Proterial

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 6 (Bernama) -- Proterial Ltd (Proterial) announced that its trade name has been changed from Hitachi Metals Ltd on Jan 4, 2023.

In a statement, the company said “Proterial” reflects the essence of its corporate philosophy, which consists of three elements namely Mission, Vision and Values.

“It combines “pro-” with the word “material”, in which “Pro-” represents the company’s “three pros” -- Professional, Progressive and Proactive while “Material” refers to the high-performance materials that its original technologies produce, underpinned by the three pros.

“With focus on solving customer issues and bringing new levels of value, we promise to contribute to the realisation of a sustainable society through the products and services that embody our philosophy,” it said.
