Boomi Completes Australia's IRAP Reassessment For Entire Enterprise Platform
KUALA LUMPUR, Aug 20 (Bernama) -- Boomi, the intelligent integration and automation leader, has announced the successful reassessment of the Boomi Enterprise Platform under the Australian Government IRAP framework.
According to Boomi in a statement, this assessment verifies that the entire platform meets PROTECTED classification level controls.
The assessment was conducted within the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD) Information Security Registered Assessors Program (IRAP), a common framework recognised by Australian Government agencies for assessing a vendor’s security posture.
“Boomi's achievement of IRAP assessment further solidifies our commitment to providing the highest levels of security and data protection for Australian organisations, particularly those in government and critical infrastructure sectors.
“This accomplishment underscores our dedication to meeting the stringent requirements of handling sensitive information, particularly at a time when governments are facing increasing threats both locally and globally,” said its Chief Information and Security Officer, Carl Siva.
Assessment at the PROTECTED level recognises Boomi's ability to provide comprehensive security controls in system design and operational effectiveness across its integration platform as a service (iPaaS).
Newly assessed platform services include Managed Cloud Service, Business-to-Business (B2B)/ Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Management, and Event Streams, with Integration, Application Programming Interface (API) Management, DataHub, and Flow workflow management reassessed as “effective”.
Boomi’s robust security posture for storing, processing, and communicating information not only meets the stringent requirements of the Australian Government IRAP framework but also allows government agencies to purchase any Boomi Enterprise Platform service without needing to complete their own independent assessments, saving public sector professionals time and resources.
