VISIT CHINA NINGXIA, THE HOMETOWN OF THE STARS

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 8 (Bernama) -- China Ningxia is an unique place where has brilliant weather conditions to see the twinkling stars. Therefore, it also owns the name “ the hometown of the stars”.  No matter at The Helan Mountains, Shapotou desert, The Great Wall or even in the Great Yellow River Valley,  you will get the best places to see the starry sky. The whole sky is filled with thousands of twinkling stars as night comes. There, you can have an intimate touch with the stars.

The Helan Mountains, highly covered with forest located at a latitude of 38 ° N, is the good place to watch Altair Star and Vega Star. Altair Star can be seen clearly from afar while Vega Star looks so bright. The position of these two stars are opposite each other in the Milky Way, seeming to be the Tanabata legend as known many hundreds of years ago, and now still shining brightly in the galaxy.

Camping and relaxing at night under the starry sky of Shapotou desert, you can explore the dreaming life by sharing the food and hearty stories with friends, and enjoying the holiday with a blazing bonfire to relief all your fatigues.

Here in Ningxia, you could also enjoy watching the sunrise and sunset at the daytime, seeing the moon and stars at the night, staying away from the hustle and bustle of the city, letting go the stresses of work and life, merging with nature, relaxing, immersing yourself into the vast starry sky, and embracing serenity and comfort which nature has given us. There is no hustle and bustle of the city here, only beautiful stars accompanying you to your dream world.

When the last glow of light disappears in the low mountains, the sky and the river are filled with dark blue while the stars twinkle. At the Huangsha Ancient Ferry, you can enjoy the sunrise from the desert, the sunset on the Yellow River, and the most beautiful starry sky. There is a faint camel bell sounding here, as if telling the story of a historic and lonely fort.
