CHINESE VARIETY SHOW RIDE THE WIND 2024 CELEBRATES WOMEN OF DIVERSE CULTURES, TALENTS

KUALA LUMPUR, May 14 (Bernama) -- Chinese variety show "Ride the Wind 2024", a musical spectacular produced by Mango TV, has invited 36 accomplished women of all ages from across the globe to join the groundbreaking show.


Their brilliant stage performances, showcasing many unique styles, catapults the show into a major platform for international cultural exchange, according to a statement.


Vietnamese singer Suni, former member of South Korean super girl group Kara, Nicole Jung, and Thai actress Mai Davika have all taken part in the spectacular.


Suni wowed the crowd with her ribbon dance performance on her debut, pulling off such challenging moves, and her outstanding Chinese also impressed other participants.


Another standout performance was Jung's signature dance, which she did while singing "Mr". Davika made a breathtaking performance, singing her hit song "Can I Call You Mine" in Thai while wearing a stunning bright, red dress.


During the official group competition, the trio teamed up with other contestants for the challenge to sing not just Chinese songs, but also in various styles.


Together, Suni and Jung collaborated to showcase a stage performance called "The Mist", while Davika, having put a lot of effort into her Chinese, presented the song "Magical".


Despite the outcome of the results, the contestants have developed a strong bond of camaraderie through teamwork during this difficult challenge, having presented their stage performances with different skills and cultural backgrounds.


In addition to being a visual feast, the spectacular offers the audience a chance to be inspired by global cultural diversity and cultural integration.
